I loved drawing Nutella, I have such a soft spot for breeds like this and her soft expression melted my heart.
She is one of my small ‘quick’ portraits and as you can see I chose to mostly use a mechanical pencil, this gave me greater precision when capturing all the little details of her gorgeous squishy face. Many years ago I discovered a kind of pencil that you don’t even need to click, it does it all for you, and I’ve never looked back!
I’m so proud of how this piece turned out and my commissioner let me know that the recipient loved it too, that’s always nice to hear.
