I met so many lovely people at Saturday’s craft show at the Rayleigh Mill Hall, all the stallholders and visitors were so sweet and supportive! I draw your pets from your favourite photographs I spent most of the day sketching customers’ pets live at my table, I’m so grateful that there are still people out…
I did a back-to-back market weekend, starting July 4th at Canewdon dog show. Dogs and art, the perfect combination As you can probably tell by how many dogs I draw, both for myself and clients, this kind of event is my happy place. It wasn’t planned, but the spot I chose just so happened to…
On June 14th I had my own stall at the Trinity Fair in Rayleigh. Pet portrait artist local to Rayleigh, Essex This is one of my favourite shows to be a part of, even if I rarely get a chance to actually explore the event since I’m happily chatting away with visitors all day. Luckily…
On Sunday I had a stall at the Little Loves Fayre in Rayleigh. I arrived early so I had time to wander around the Mount and snap some photos of the beautiful wildlife – a squirrel watched me from a tree and there were plenty of bugs buzzing around the flowers. Its always nice to…

On April 11th I had a stall at the ‘Vintage & Makers Market’ in Chelmsford to promote my pet portrait services, here’s how my table looked before and after the show started: I didn’t take a lot of photos during the day since I spent most of it chatting with everyone who came by, however…
On April 4th I had a stall at a local Easter market. First things first, I had to iron my hand-painted tablecloth that had sat unused for far too long, then pack everything except the kitchen sink into my suitcase. It wasn’t a long drive since I live pretty close by. It was quite nostalgic…
Welcome back to my journal! I do enjoy designing these, its fun to try out different layouts and styles without having to commit to gluing photos into a real scrapbook. This week I took many photos in the woods since it was wonderfully sunny and frosty, leading to some interesting shots – I especially love…
Trying something new – ‘studio journal’ posts with little updates & pictures that I’ve shared recently, I hope you enjoy seeing what I’ve been up to! Lately its been pretty chilly so I’m lighting candles to make it more cosy; cake and cookie scents are my favourites. It can be hard to leave the house…
